National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine
National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (NMetAU, Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) is a technical university since 1899 with 35 engineering, economic and management degree programmes. National status shows its leading role in the field of metallurgical education and science in Ukraine.

NMetAU hosts 4 Specialised Academic Councils on D.Sc. and Cand.Sc. (PhD) theses defense. Among its distinguished staff there are 2 Academicians of the National Academy of Science, 57 Academicians of different branch Academies, 26 Laureates of State Prizes in Science and Engineering. Besides of main campus, NMetAU has 2 remote faculties providing higher education and 5 remote technical schools for training of junior specialists, which are located at industrial cities of the region. Since 2003 NMetAU is a full member of the European Universities Association (EUA). NMetAU has cooperation with universities in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Sweden, UK, USA, China, Peru. The project addresses objectives mentioned at NMetAU Development Concept, strategically directed to emphasise the EU co-operation. NMetAU has experience of participation in the European Projects under TEMPUS, DAAD, VISBY and other programmes
