Katholieke Hogeschool Sint-Lieven

Katholieke Hogeschool Sint-Lieven (KHSL) is a large higher education institution in Belgium, Flanders, with campuses in Gent, Aalst and Sint-Niklaas. KHSL organises Bachelor/Master education in industrial sciences, technology, agriculture, health care, commercial sciences, management, teaching. KHSL is member of the ‘Association K.U. Leuven’ that groups 13 HEIs and has more than 70 000 students. KHSL took part in several Tempus projects in Poland, Slovakia and Bulgaria. KHSL has been a contractor of the “University-Management project for BIH universities“, where relationship with students and graduates has been a very important issue of university management. Actually, KHSL participates at two Tempus projects.

In the project “Quality Management procedure for Promoting University-Enterprise cooperation”, a client satisfaction survey of graduates will be one the major outcomes. In the "Formation of Russian Expertise to Skills in Environmental Education" project,  staff from Kaliningrad State Technical University was retrained in setting up a self-supporting spin off centre counselling also employment perspectives of graduated students. It is important to stress that within the framework of the lifelong learning contract with students, KHSL maintains very close contacts with graduates. Each curriculum has alumni organisation and organises meetings with graduates regularly. Surveys are implemented focusing not only on customer satisfaction, but also on the chances of employment after graduation.
