L'Academie de Grenoble

L'Academie de Grenoble - local educational authority of Rhone-Alpes region of France (including Lyon - 70 780 of students only in higher educational instititions) – is represented in the project with GIP-FIPAG (Groupement d'Interet Public - Formation et Insertion Professionnelles de l'Academie de Grenoble / Public Interest Group – Education and Employment). The GIP-FIPAG has staff to produce and supply training materials and develop consultancy services and teacher training. It is also responsible for the management of the European and international projects. GIP-FIPAG provides a wide range of training solutions such as: advice and assistance in selecting specific course; preparation for examination or professional qualification from first aptitude certificates to advanced technician’s certificates; increasing levels of qualification and skills; adapting to technological change; professional retraining or refreshing courses required to meet career goals; assessment of individual skills; training in foreign languages etc.

To promote lifelong learning, the GIP-FIPAG has been involved in many European projects, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Adapt, Tempus/Tacis (also as Grant Holder and Coordinator), MEDA etc. In order to organize employment and professional integration, training actions have been set up in many countries, such as Russia, Romania, China, Lao Republic, Algeria, Morocco. The GIP-FIPAG has also been working with embassies and the World Bank in order to develop new training schemes and training tools to further economic and technological changes.
