Presentation of MP Dniprostal

Metallurgical plant Dniprostal presentation was held on May 17th 2011 in the NMetAU assembly hall. The plant was represented by the Deputy Director V.M. Yerak, head of industrial and technological management I.S. Murzin and head specialist of personnel service O.O. Ninenko. Representatives of the company told history of the plant development and its present state. They also told about job offers and career development possibilities and informed about the program "Green Metallurgy", aimed to the environment protection.

The Aim of the Career & Employability Center

Every year about 2000 students graduate from NMetAU. Many of them put themselves such questions as “where to work: at a factory or in a company?", "is it better to work in the field of specialty or in the interdisciplinary field?", "how to find an employer?” etc. There is a real job placement problem in Ukraine, which greatly affects recent graduates. A graduate is able work in any field. But not each work will be useful and efficient, and not each work will bring satisfaction to the graduate. Leading European universities have efficient tools for solving this problem, such as career and employability centers. NMetAU decided to take an active part in solving problems of job placement.
