NMetAU Career Day 2009
Within the frameworks of the project «Tempus Tacis JEP_27010_2006 Career & Employability Centre: new service for graduates», 25th of February 2009, NMetAU Career Day 2009 was held. Employers that took part in this event had a possibility to introduce NMetAU students to their enterprise, to implement to the educational process by providing topics of thesis and term papers, and also find the candidates for employment among NMetAU students. 13 companies participated in the event. Among them were such leaders of the metallurgical sphere like Interpipe, Lutugino Research & Production Roll Company, Yuzhnoe SDO. More than 1000 of students visited the Career Day.
The Career Day in Umea University
Uniaden is one of the biggest fairs for students in Sweden aimed at students’ and graduates’ employment. It is held each last Tuesday of January in a small city of Umea in the north of Sweden since 1994. The fair’s aim is to give students and companies a possibility to communicate.
NMetAU visit to KaHo Sint Lieven
NMetAU visit to KaHo Sint Lieven (Gent, Belgium) lasted from 2nd to 16th of March 2008. Delegation consisted of vice-rector I. Proydak, professor of the Department of Coatings, Composite Materials and the Protection of Metals G. Stovpchenko, associate professor of the Automation of Production Processes Department О. Potap, associate professor of the Metal Forming Department V. Boyarkin and associate professor of Quality, Standardization and Certification Department О. Yermakova.
First coordination meeting
First coordination meeting was held in Académie de Grenoble (GIP FIPAG) on February 12-13, 2007.
